The ONLY benefit DR2's co-op mode had was so you could bring duplicate books into someone else's game and then bug out, leaving them the duplicate book to boost the effects. However, 2 Chucks was absolutlely stupid, for the obvious reason that you're both playing as the same character. I think OTR let one play as Chuck and the other play as Frank, but can't recall exactly. Someone explain to me how multi-player would work? DR2's co-op put 2 Chucks in the map. You would pretty much need to rewrite many things that are hard coded into the game systems. Mod communities for DR have never really taken off and to program a mulitplayer mod would require a ton of time and a lot of know how. The multiplayer mod will not happen if I'm being honest. Multiplayer mod (a lot of games have Multiplayer mods, but I think it would be really hard for Dead Rising)
